To evaluate the proposed Bachelor of Science in Manufacturing Engineering program, the Regional Quality Assessment Team (RQAT) of CHEDRO III visited Pampanga State University (Pampanga State U) at the University Hostel on November 18, 2025.
The RQAT team aimed to determine the program’s compliance with the minimum requirements set by CHED and its eligibility to be offered and to gain official recognition under the College of Engineering and Architecture (CEA) of the University.
Leading the assessment team was Engr. Nilto T. Bugtai, Chairman of the Technical Panel for Manufacturing Engineering, along with Engr. Aldrin C. Bernardo, CHED-OPSD Educational Program Specialist II Engr. Moises B. Cabreros Jr., and CHEDRO III Educational Specialist II Engr. Rico Jay S. Laxa.
The evaluation process included a thorough review of documents, followed by an ocular inspection of the program facilities. The team inspected laboratories and equipment, instructional facilities, and the library.
“Your expertise and guidance are invaluable as we undergo the inspection and evaluation of our proposed program. We believe that today’s assessment will significantly contribute to shaping a program that upholds the highest standards and prepares our future engineers for the evolving demands of Industry 4.0 and beyond.” said Engr. Jun P. Flores, CEA dean.
Present during the evaluation along with Engr. Flores are the select CEA program chairpersons and select faculty members.
The result of the assessment will be released soon and will expand the engineering programs of the University providing quality and future-ready education to its students.
