Four students from the Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BSInfotech) program of Pampanga State University–Candaba Campus won 8th place in HackForGov 2025 Region 3, held in Malolos City, Bulacan, last December 4, 2025.
Lorence Jhunel E. Bangit, Kimson H. Cuellar, Bryan D. Esller, and Ayvan Kyle D. Macalino, together with their coach, Angelo Changcoco, brought pride to the University as they showcased their skills in the regional competition.
The event was a regional Capture-the-Flag cybersecurity competition that provided a platform for students to demonstrate cybersecurity excellence.
With the theme “Cyber Guardians: Empowering Today’s Defenders, Securing Tomorrow’s Digital Nation,” the event was organized by the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) through DICT Regional Office 3 and the Cybersecurity Bureau–National Computer Emergency Response Team (NCERT).
