To enhance productivity and foster development for sustainable economic growth in the community, the Pampanga III Electric Cooperative, Inc. (PELCO 3) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU) through its Extension Services Office (ESO) at the PELCO III Main Office in Apalit, Pampanga, on March 11, 2025.
The cooperation includes activities related to community organization and development, co-hosting of trainings and seminars, collaborative projects on research, innovation, and training, as well as the sharing of available service facilities and other resources.
Present during the MOU signing were PELCO 3 Board President Raul I. Lacap and PELCO 3 General Manager Maria Elizabeth Urbano.
Meanwhile, DHVSU was represented by Engr. Rhoderick Favorito, ESO Director; Rhiziel P. Manalese, Occupational Safety and Health Office Director; and ESO center managers Engr. Inla Diana Salonga, Eloisa Mendoza, and Ma. Ferdelyn Coutinho.
As part of the partnership, a training session on Workplace 360: Gender Inclusivity, Safety, and Sustainability in Action Program was conducted for PELCO 3 employees after the MOU signing.
