Proudly representing the Honorian community, the 274 faculty and staff delegates of Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU) actively participated in the opening ceremony of the State Colleges and Universities Faculty Association of Region III (SCUFAR-III) Sports and Cultural Festival, held on August 20 at Pampanga State Agricultural University in Magalang, Pampanga.
To officially send off the Honorian delegation, University President Dr. Enrique Baking, together with DHVSU Faculty Regent Prof. Mariefel Capili, led the raising of the university's official flag for the event. Joining them were the official representatives of the University for Mr. and Ms. SCUFAR III, Trisha Anne Onofre and Arjan Mendoza.
The three-day activity aims to promote physical fitness and foster camaraderie among the faculty and non-academic staff of SUCs in Region III.
