Six delegates from Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) visited Pampanga State University (Pampanga State U) on October 16, 2025, to gain insights into the University’s policies and guidelines on faculty institutional promotion. The benchmarking activity was held at the University Board Room Extension.

The discussion centered on the procedures and best practices of Pampanga State U that may serve as a reference for TAU in enhancing its own systems.

The TAU delegates were welcomed by Engr. Reden Hernandez, Executive Vice President and concurrent Vice President for Administration and Finance, and Vice President for Academic Affairs; Dr. Eddiebal Layco, Director of the Planning and Development Office; Mariefel Capili, President of the Faculty Association; Dr. Yuri Walter Akiate, Committee on Faculty Institutional Promotion; Kathleya Vianca Habon, Director of Public Relations and Industry Linkages Office; and Debbie Ann Fatima Barrera, Head of the Human Resource Management Unit.

Representatives from Pampanga State U also addressed the inquiries of the TAU delegates regarding the University’s experiences and practices on faculty institutional promotion.
