Demonstrating strong engagement, with 323 out of 386 eligible voters participating—an 83.68% turnout—the Pampanga State University (Pampanga State U) Faculty Association (FA) completed its automated elections of new officers on December 12, 2025.
Three candidates vied for the presidency of the Pampanga State U FA, a position that also serves as the faculty representative to the University Board of Regents.
Mike Haizon M. David won the presidential race with 158 votes, against Mariefel F. Capili, who received 88 votes, and Jessie D. Manapsal, who obtained 69 votes.
“Mula sa inyong tapat na Talasuyu, maraming salamat po sa inyong mainit na suporta at tiwala. Makakaasa po kayo sa aming ibayong sipag at paglilingkod,” David said in an interview.
Pier Angeli M. Malate won the vice presidency with 145 votes, ahead of Vanessa B. Sibug with 96 votes and Bob T. Dayaguit with 50 votes.
The position of treasurer remains vacant following the election.

Sergeant At Arms
• Glenn N. Abutan Jr. – 215 votes
• Abstain – 108 votes
The new officers will serve to represent faculty interests and support the University initiatives.
The Pampanga State U–FA Commission on Elections was led by Robin T. Arcilla as commissioner, with Elmer Penecilla as assistant commissioner and Jester David as secretary general.
Precinct chairs included Michelle C. Castro, Leila Cortez, Angel Clarette, Jaypee S. Manlutac, Roe Vincent Ovejas, Jenelyn T. Peña, Isaac Ronquillo, Marichelle Torres, and Julius M. Velasco.
