“We are here to satisfy the requirements of the learners, the regulators, and ‘yung ating mga partners. I-maintain niyo ‘yung system niyo through internal audit.”
These guiding words from John Joseph Denoga, an external auditor from SQC Management System Certification Corp. (SQC), marked the conclusion of the successful Recertification Audit, as Pampanga State University (Pampanga State U) was once again re-certified for the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System (QMS) in the University-wide audit that took place on November 26 to 27, 2025.
External auditors from SQC, headed by Denoga, conducted a rigorous two-day review.
They assessed the quality manuals, procedures, and system documentation across all campuses and offices, ensuring that Pampanga State U's operations continue to comply with the international ISO QMS standards.
During the opening program, Pampanga State U President Dr. Enrique G. Baking emphasized the importance of the certification, which is anchored to the university's mission.
“The purpose of this certification is rooted in the very mission of our university to provide accessible, relevant and transformative education that empowers our people and uplift our communities,” said Dr. Baking.
Present at the two-day event, along with Dr. Baking, were the top management of the University, including Engr. Reden M. Hernandez, Executive Vice President concurrent Vice President for Administration and Finance and Vice President for Academic Affairs; Dr. Dolores T. Quiambao, Vice President for Student Affairs and Services; members of the administrative council, and select faculty members.
Spearheaded by the Quality Management Systems Office (QMSO), led by its Director, Dr. Emmanuel Parreño, the external audit serves as a vital quality checkpoint and assurance that the university continues to meet international standards in its management systems and operations.
